Why IA?
National security intelligence analysis serves as a foundation of our defense against our nation's greatest adversaries. It was an extremely compelling and easy choice to join this major and career field due to my dedication to the industry.

What do you enjoy most about the program?
Learning from our highly experienced professors and faculty. Their industry expertise has been paramount to the success of our program.

Most influential person at JMU
Dr. Pili has been an extremely influential professor in my academic and professional career. He is wonderful not only as a professor with his knowledge, but also as a key mentor in my life.

What do you enjoy doing outside of class?
Play the guitar and piano!

Advice for prospective students
Build bonds with your professors, faculty, and students within the program. You will do so much better academically, and you will really enjoy your time in classes and in the building with a personal relationship with your peers and advisors.
