Inclusive Excellence Council
The CISE Inclusive Excellence Council, comprised of faculty and staff from the academic units and Dean’s Office, strives to create a setting in which our shared values of respect and trust support all members. We recognize the importance of inclusion through student access and success, workplace connections, teaching and learning, and community engagement. CISE believes in the importance of diverse perspectives for solving real-world problems through applied science and technology. We welcome and support the backgrounds, cultures, and experiences of our community members in this work.

Inclusion Related Activities
Faculty, staff, and students in our units engage in various activities to promote greater inclusion in our academic areas and in STEM fields more broadly. We are especially active in seeking to broaden the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM fields in the K-12 realm.
If you have an idea for an inclusion-related activity or project you would like to see pursued in CISE, please contact Mike Lam.
