The first step in your application process is submitting an application to the JMU Graduate School and providing all information requested.

How to Complete this Step

Follow these steps to complete your Graduate School application:

  • Visit the JMU Graduate School website
  • Create an application by clicking the “Apply Now!” button.
  • Enter all required information and submit the application fee.
  • Review your application carefully to ensure accuracy.
  • Download a PDF copy of your completed JMU Graduate School application.  You will need to upload this in Step 2 when applying to OTCAS.
  • Submit your application!

Important Notes

  • Additional materials must be submitted through OTCAS and directly to James Madison University’s Master of Occupational Therapy Program in later steps.
  • Do not include these materials in your Graduate School application. 
  • Make sure you complete all three steps by the required deadlines.
