This minor offers students a broad, interdisciplinary perspective on the cultures, history, political institutions, economy and geography of Asia. The program provides students a background in the most populous and economically dynamic region of the world.

Students who choose to minor in Asian Studies benefit from broad geographical and topical course offerings. Education received in these courses, combined with the student’s major degree, offers students cultural breadth to distinguish themselves in the job market, provides them with the basis for future graduate study, or lays a foundation for overseas employments be it in Business, Communications, English instruction, or International finance.
