BRAXTON CONGROVE (BFA 2015, Studio Art - Fiber)

Braxton Congrove (b. 1991, Virginia) currently lives and works in Richmond, VA. She received her BFA in Studio Art, Fibers Concentration from James Madison University in 2015 and attended the Virginia Commonwealth University Summer Studio Program in 2015. Braxton has participated in Bread and Puppet Theater, OTTO’s Abode, and c3:initiative. Her work has been shown at Arlington Arts Center, Disjecta, Point 1612, VALET, Hillyer, and Syracuse University. In 2018 she was awarded a Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship.
