Thank you for your interest in the School of Art, Design, and Art History! Click HERE to read our brochure.

Our process is unique in that students interested in majoring in Architectural Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Studio Art must submit a portfolio through SlideRoom in addition to James Madison University's application process.

Students intending to major in Art History are not required to submit a portfolio or additional materials for review, but should follow the regular JMU admissions process.

All students (Art, Design, and Art History) are required to attend an On-campus Portfolio Review Day to be considered for scholarships.
