Veteran Peer Specialist

Part-time (15 hours/week).  Hourly rate and mileage for travel.

The Virginia Wounded Warrior Program Region 1 and Northwestern Community Services Board seek an energetic professional to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families in the Northwestern and Harrisonburg-Rockingham areas.

~Provide peer support to veterans, and their families, with combat-related stress and other stress issues relating to military service

~Recent military experience required; combat experience preferred

~Two years experience in human services-related field

~Associates degree or two years college level coursework (education and experience to produce required knowledge, skills, and abilities)
