Duke Dog Mascot Mark

When presentation limitations prohibit appropriate use of the Duke Dog logo, the Duke Dog mascot mark may be used. The mark consists of the head of Duke Dog surrounded by a purple control-shape background and black outline.

The Duke Dog mascot mark must be displayed with visual integrity according to the following standards.

Standards

• The Duke Dog mascot mark shall be legible.

• The Duke Dog mascot mark proportions shall not be altered.

• The Duke Dog mascot mark shall not be displayed in proximity to the James Madison logo, the Duke Dog logo, the Duke Dog secondary mark or the JMU letter mark. Another logo or mark shall not be closer than the total height from top to bottom of the mascot mark.

• The Duke Dog mascot mark is federally registered and always shall be displayed with the standard registration mark "®."

• The Duke Dog mascot mark shall not have type or graphic elements overprint it.

• The Duke Dog mascot mark shall not be used with any graphic other than the JMUSPORTS.com logo to create another athletics logo or mark.

• The Duke Dog mascot mark may face left or face right.
