Faculty and Staff

Welcome to the faculty and staff resource page!

This website provides resources to support your various roles in curriculum development, graduate student advising and teaching, and administration of your department’s graduate programs.

The staff of The Graduate School is also available to help faculty and staff with any administrative and academic concerns related to graduate education at James Madison University. If you need assistance or have a question, please contact The Graduate School at (540) 568-6131.

Keep us informed!

Please keep us informed of your accomplishments and those of your students so that we can share your achievements with the JMU graduate community. Send your program, faculty, and student news to Dr. Reid Linn, Dean of The Graduate School, (linnrj@jmu.edu) and Dr. Melissa Aleman, Associate Dean of The Graduate School. (alemanmc@jmu.edu)

Stay up-to-date!

Please review your websites, graduate program manuals, policies documentation, and graduate forms to ensure that they are timely and up-to-date.

  • All forms, websites, and manuals should refer to "The Graduate School" and "www.jmu.edu/grad".
  • Graduate School forms that are to be used should be downloaded from our Forms page. Please discard any blank forms you have, since most of the forms are pdf-fillable and must be typed online before being printed for signatures.

The 2013-2014 Graduate Catalog is available at http://www.jmu.edu/gradcatalog/13.
