Guidance for winter session enrollment
- It is highly recommended that students complete their spring semester enrollment through the open enrollment period before enrolling in winter session courses.
- Contact your Academic Unit Head (AUH) if you will exceed the 19-credit hour limit, based on your cumulative grade point average, for spring enrollment by enrolling in winter session courses. Please refer to the JMU course catalog for further information.
-
It is not recommended that students enroll in more than 4 credit hours across all winter sessions due to the demand on time for successful completion of each individual course.
-
Please be advised that pre-requisite courses taken during the winter session and/or related GPA updates may not satisfy requirements for courses offered in the spring term. Please consult your academic advisor.
