Guidance for winter session enrollment
  1. It is highly recommended that students complete their spring semester enrollment through the open enrollment period before enrolling in winter session courses.
  2. Contact your Academic Unit Head (AUH) if you will exceed the 19-credit hour limit, based on your cumulative grade point average, for spring enrollment by enrolling in winter session courses. Please refer to the JMU course catalog for further information.
  3. It is not recommended that students enroll in more than 4 credit hours across all winter sessions due to the demand on time for successful completion of each individual course.
