Tia (she/her) joined UREC in 2023 as the Director of Health Promotion to provide leadership for comprehensive campus-wide engagement in health and well-being.

She received her bachelor's degree in Allied Health Science and Spanish from Bridgewater College and completed both her Masters of Public Health Education and College Student Personnel Administration Certificate from James Madison University. She has worked in the field of health promotion since 2009, most recently serving as Associate Director in the Office of Health Promotion at the University of Virginia.
