Jordan (she/her) joined UREC in 2021 as the Assistant Director for Sexual and Relationship Health. However, she started her journey at JMU in 2017 working at the University Health Center as the Health Education Coordinator and then Assistant Director for Health Promotion & Well-Being. She now oversees all programs and services related to sexual and relationship health including safer sex supply distribution, sexual health coaching, and Green Dot. She also oversees some of our Wellness Instructors.

She has her Master of Public Health degree from West Virginia University with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences, along with a graduate certificate in women’s health. Prior to that, Jordan earned her Regents Bachelor of Arts from WVU with an emphasis in exercise physiology and women and gender studies. She has been involved with peer health education and sexual health since 2012.

Jordan is a Certified Health Education Specialist with the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She also adjunct lectures one section for HTH 231: Population Health Determinants.

Jordan grew up in Martinsburg, WV and will always be a Mountaineer at heart. She loves doing puzzles, Team Trivia and playing with her dog, Daisy.
