Just since December 2019, the Office of Content Marketing (formerly Branded Content) has won 29 industry awards and recognitions (and counting) for its content! Check it out: 
  • Two EDM Awards in December 2019. James Madison University was recognized with a pair of Education Digital Marketing Awards. Two digital videos were recognized: “JMU Campus Glimpse” won a SILVER Award and “Madison Trust | Backing the Breakthrough” won a MERIT Award. A national panel of judges voted on the 7th Annual EDM Awards.
  • Five CASE District III Awards in January 2020 (out of nearly 1,000 total entries): 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronzes and 1 Honorable Mention.

  • Seven awards in the 37th Annual Educational Advertising Awards. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. In 2022, more than 2,000 entries were received from 1,000+ colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals.
