Description
Duties:
- Prepare lunch and snack(s) daily; clean dishes made by children at meal-time(s) while under your supervision.
- Oversee various playtime activities (arts & crafts, outdoor play, general free-play time, board games, etc).
- Assist with daily 'summer school' work (worksheet, sight word/CVC word flash cards, cut & paste work, tracing/handwriting work, etc).
- Help facilitate children cleaning up after themselves.
- Children are 6 year old twins (one boy, one girl) who love to play games, explore, and do crafts! Any work, crafts, etc. will be provided for you.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Clean background check
First Aid/CPR certified is a plus
At least 4 years of childcare experience
3 personal or professional references

Additional Information:
Looking for reliable childcare for the summer a few days a week. Days will vary from week-to-week (grandmothers will also be watching children on certain weekdays); willing to see what days work best for candidate. Father has a full-time remote WFH job and will be in his home office during the day, but will not interfere unless candidate were to need help with something or have a question. We have a 7 year old chocolate labrador who is friendly and loves people; candidate will not be responsible for dog care, just needs to be comfortable around dogs. Candidate does not need to drive children to appointments or run errands with them. This is strictly a child-care role so that Dad can focus on his work while kids are home for summer. Specific hours
Arrive at home located in Timberville at 9; leave for the day at 4:30 or so. Reporting hours are flexible, can discuss with candidate. Days of the week will also vary, unless candidate prefers same set days each week. One week 'off' some time during the summer when we will be out of town for a family vacation.
Duration of position
Until school begins August 14th (possibility for after school hours a few days a week once school begins)
