GYT: Get Yourself Tested

The University Health Center and UREC Health and Wellness Promotion have partnered to offer STI/STD testing to JMU students at no additional cost.

Appointments will first consist of an STI Intake Appointment with a member of the UREC Health and Wellness Promotion Team. These confidential discussions include what testing options are available and safer sex practices. Immediately following this conversation, students will have the opportunity to be tested.

To participate, schedule your intake and testing appointment via MyJMUChart (select the Free STI Testing Clinic and Free Get Yourself Tested STI testing as the appointment reason).

Appointments occur at the University Health Center Urgent Care entrance, located on the corner of Mason Street and MLK Way.

Please note that if there are concerns about STI transmission from a recent sexual encounter, you must wait 7 days after the sexual encounter for testing to be accurate.
