Request For Proposals
Are you a JMU faculty or staff member with groundbreaking research, scholarship, or creative endeavors? Madison Trust offers you a unique opportunity to present your innovative idea to a panel of enthusiastic philanthropic investors. JMU innovators who present their program, project or research can benefit from:
- Support for budgets up to $25,000 with a Madison Trust grant
- Assistance with positioning your innovation to seek other gifts or grants
- Introductions to colleagues at JMU who can help you find and pursue additional funding opportunities
Our submission portal is now open! Please submit your proposal no later than Monday, November 18, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
After the submission window closes, we will begin the review of proposals. Ten projects will be chosen for presentation to a panel of philanthropic investors on March 14, 2025.
Upcoming Dates
- Monday, November 18, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.: Submission deadline for Madison Trust 2025.
- Thursday, December 19, 2024 (at the latest): Finalists notified.
- Mid-January 2025: Presenter Workshops (dates TBD based on finalists' schedules).
- Mid-February 2025: Open Session Workshops (dates TBD based on finalists' schedules).
- Late-February/Early-March 2025: Dress/Tech Rehearsals (dates TBD based on finalists' schedules).
- Friday, March 14, 2025: Madison Trust event and project presentations (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; individual presentation times TBD).
