Associate Director of the Learning Centers - Science and Math

James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for an Associate Director to lead The Science and Math Learning Center (SMLC). The Associate Director of the Learning Centers - Science and Math, works closely with the Executive Director, faculty, and staff to provide a secure, supportive learning environment that fosters independent thinking for students enrolled in science and mathematics courses.

 

The Learning Centers include the Communication Center, Digital Communication Consulting, English Language Learner Services, Peer-Assisted Study Sessions, the Science and Math Learning Center, and the University Writing Center. Our 14 full-time faculty and staff and 130 peer educators provide tutorials, workshops, consultations, and course-embedded programming to support learning across disciplines.
