Proposal Guidelines

We are seeking proposals of leadership research. Given the interdisciplinary nature of LEADCC, proposals can originate from any discipline but must have a leadership emphasis. Conference tracks will focus on leadership in a variety of organizational environments including higher education, nonprofit, community, and organizational behavior/psychology. Proposals authored or co-authored by current students or recent graduates are encouraged, but not required.

Submitted proposals (1000 words max) will be accepted through the conference website October 15th-November 30th.

Proposals should address the following in 1000 words or less:

  1. Alignment with the conference leadership theme;
  2. Problem or issue that will be addressed in the presentation;
  3. Topic’s relation to the state of knowledge in the field (including relevant literature and theory);
  4. Methodological approach (including analytical strategy and data sources);
  5. A brief account of conclusion and its significance to an interdisciplinary audience.

Proposals will be evaluated using a double-blind review process. Notifications of review decisions will be made by January 1, 2021. Full papers of accepted proposals will be due February 5, 2021.
