Dr. Amy Paugh is a Professor of Anthropology and the Program Coordinator for the Anthropology department. Her teaching focuses on cultural anthropology, language and culture, Creole cultures and languages, ethnographic experience in Dominica, anthropology of narrative, peoples and cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean. Her research interests include language and identity; language socialization; multilingualism; creole languages and cultures; work and family; language and food; Dominica, Caribbean; and Los Angeles, California.
