2020 Dates to Remember
March 24: Giving Day
April 24-25: Spring Reunion Weekend (class years ending in 0 & 5)
Expectations of Volunteers:
- Have graduated from JMU within the last 10 years.
- Attend 3 GOLD Network meetings on JMU’s campus throughout the year.
- Attend GOLD Network sponsored activities.
- Be available for monthly check-ins via phone and webinar.
- Participate on a committee and complete tasks as needed.
- Give at the President’s Council level within the fiscal years they are serving.
- $200 for graduates 1-5 years out
- $500 for graduates 6-10 years out
- Solicit peers to give to JMU and engage peers to connect with Chapter and/or volunteer opportunities.
- Create and meet with GOLD Alumni within their portfolio one-on-one, once a month.
- Cover travel and lodging costs for board meetings on campus.
- Serve for 2 years, with ability to renew position for an additional 2 years.
- Be a positive advocate for JMU to alumni and the university.
