Creative Writing Club for JMU Students
Word is Born is JMU’s premier creative writing society! We are a community of writers who engage in a variety of writing styles and enjoy sharing our work with others. Join us for weekly meetings and hone your writing skills, be it with poetry, prose, or anything in between. Word is Born is committed to empowering its members to write more and stay wordy by fostering an accepting culture and hosting workshops led by our exec team, faculty, or visiting authors from Furious Flower.
