Chris Sneed grew up on the beaches of Wilmington, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from which he earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Philosophy. Following graduation, Chris taught in an elementary school. His primary academic areas of interest include studies in new historicism, intertextuality, and existentialism. 

Beyond the world of academics, Chris enjoys writing, playing video games, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with his cat.
