She graduated from Longwood University in 2026 with a BA in English Secondary Education and Creative Writing and a minor in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. She also presented a research paper at the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts conference in March 2026 in Orlando on the intertextuality of Peter Straub’s Ghost Story and Arthurian legends. Edison has a passion for many genres, such as fantasy and young adult literature, but her biggest passion falls with medieval literature.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, baking, and listening to music. Edison also loves to travel. During her undergrad, she studied abroad in Croatia studying Children’s Literature and traveled to New Orleans to focus on historical preservation. In the future, Edison hopes continue in academia, fueling her love for learning. One day, she would like to pursue a PhD and share her passion for literature as a professor at a university.
