The Assistant Director of Community Partnership Development is responsible for connecting with nonprofit, government, and educational organizations throughout the Shenandoah Valley to enhance meaningful and sustainable relationships and gain a better understanding of community-identified goals and priorities.

Bio:

Jenna grew up in Richmond, Virginia and earned her B.A. in communication from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining JMU, she worked in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving as executive director of Project GROWS educational farm serving youth in the Central Shenandoah Valley. Jenna is actively involved in local community initiatives related to the environment, food systems, and equitable access to health. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her family on their farm in Augusta County, VA.
