The Curricular Development Manager is responsible for supporting faculty in integrating community priorities into the curriculum. This includes connecting faculty with community partners and providing resources ranging from (re)writing syllabi and selecting community engagement experiences, to designing a thoughtful experience and developing strategies to enhance student learning.

Bio:

Mary earned her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel Administration at James Madison University. She started as a graduate assistant in 2004 and came full-circle 15 years later after adventures at Gonzaga University, Elon University, Georgetown University, Northern VA Community College, and George Mason University. Mary has also worked in the nonprofit sector and earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. A native of West Virginia, Mary is happiest near mountains, and enjoys hiking in Shenandoah National Park, supporting local restaurants, travelling, and reading past bedtime.
