Who We Are
JMU CARE™ is an interdisciplinary research center within the College of Education at James Madison University dedicated to advancing innovative, evidence-based solutions that improve education across the lifespan. Through externally funded research, strategic partnerships, and community-engaged scholarship, CARE brings together researchers, educators, policymakers, industry partners, and community organizations to address complex educational challenges. Building on its foundation in early childhood education, the Center's research spans artificial intelligence, STEM education, teacher professional development, civic engagement, language and literacy, family engagement, workforce development, and implementation science, translating research into practical solutions that strengthen educational systems and improve outcomes for learners and communities.
