Grade 10 Science Inquiry

Turner Ashby High School

I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor's degree in biology, as well as a master's degree in science education. Prior to teaching, I worked in a conservation biology research lab where I developed a passion for protecting threatened and endangered species. I found that working in education would allow me to promote modern research techniques and hopefully inspire the next generation of scientists. At Turner Ashby High School, I teach Environmental Science, Biology, and AP Environmental Science beginning in fall 2026. Additionally, I coach soccer, run the National Honor Society, and drive substitute bus routes for the county. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, camping, concerts, and spending time with family.
