Turner Ashby High School & Memorial Hall

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science and secondary education and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning. I have been an educator for 20 years.  In addition to teacher of record at JMU Labschool I am currently teaching environmental science and Labschool Inquiry science at Turner Ashby High School. I developed a passion for conducting research with students on science expeditions around the world, including Galapagos Islands, Belize, Iceland, and the Azores. My husband and I live in Penn Laird with our two boys. I love travelling, music and concerts, plants, hiking and camping, and the Buffalo Bills!
