Co-Enrollment Pathway Update

The RN-BSN Co-Enrollment Pathway is currently paused while we prepare for the launch of our new nursing curriculum. The pathway is expected to resume in Fall 2028, when the new curriculum begins.

We appreciate your interest in pursuing your BSN through James Madison University and encourage you to check back for updates and additional information about the Fall 2028 co-enrollment pathway.

Students who have met the requirements outlined on the RN-BSN Co-Enrollment Requirements page can submit an application for enrollment. Students may apply before they receive their acceptance from their VCCS RN program – final enrollment is contingent on acceptance.

You will need:

  • All unofficial college transcripts
  • Any AP scores
  • The number of credits you will be taking in your ADN program during the semester you are applying for
  • Your expected graduation date from your ADN program

You will be asked to write a short essay (2800 characters.)
