I am currently a graduate student working with Dr. Christine May in her lab on aquatic ecology with an emphasis on interdisciplinary studies and research. I previously graduated from JMU in 2022 with a BA in Earth Science and a minor in Theatre, where I worked on undergraduate research alongside Dr. Ángel Garcia researching caves and karst landscapes. After my undergraduate degree, I worked full-time at Grand Caverns, Virginia for 3 years where I assisted various partners on research regarding the caves microbiome, hydrology, and geology. I now work full-time at JMU’s STEM Center for Education and Outreach where I will be a part-time student in the master’s program.
