I am a master’s student in Dr. Hembry’s lab studying the microbiome of parasitic leaf-flower moths. I originally started my research at Arizona State University, studying stress responses in turkeys. I then transitioned while at ASU to study the termite gut protist and its obligate mutualism, which relatively led me to this current master’s project and to JMU.
