Maddie joined the Student Success Coaching team in February 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in School Counseling, and is passionate about helping students reach their goals with empathy and encouragement. She loves cooking, bad movies, video games, and her dog, Ellie.

Ashley is passionate about walking alongside students as they navigate their academic journey. Holding a Master’s degree in Leadership and Human Development, she creates a supportive space where students feel heard and empowered to reach their goals. As a Success Coach, Ashley believes success looks different for everyone and enjoys helping students discover their strengths. When she’s not coaching, she’s exploring coffee shops with her dog.

My name is Allie Liccione and I am a junior finance and interactive design major! I hope to pursue a career in FinTech in the future. I am a Peer Academic Coach because I love collaborating with others and problem-solving together - it's incredibly fulfilling to help make people's lives easier! In my free time, I like to explore restaurants around Harrisonburg and try out new UREC classes! My favorite area to focus on as an academic coach is schedule planning and study strategies but I'm here to help with anything you need!

Hi, I’m Kaylin! I’m a first-year Occupational Therapy Master’s student here at JMU, a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, and originally from Fairfax, Virginia. As a Graduate Assistant supporting both the Learning Success Strategies and Rebound initiatives, I enjoy empowering peers to develop personalized academic strategies to achieve their unique goals.
