The purpose of the Office of the Registrar is to accurately maintain student records and serve the students, faculty, and staff of JMU in a manner consistent with university policies and procedures.

The Office of the Registrar is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and houses Student Record Services and Registration Services:
(Tuition & Billing issues are handled by the University Business Office.)

Fall 2009 open enrollment for UG students begins July 27th.

July 2, 2009
Last day to add a GR Second 6-Week session course.
Last day to drop a GR Second 6-Week session course for a tuition refund.
A 'W' will apply at midnight and student will be financially responsible for the course(s).

July 3, 2009
JMU closed for observance of Independence Day holiday.  Classes do not meet.

July 6, 2009
Last day to withdraw from a UG 6-Week session course or change course credit options.
This includes declaring or changing a repeat option.

July 10, 2009
Last day to withdraw from a GR 8-Week session course.

July 17, 2009
Last day to withdraw from a GR Second 6-Week session course.

July 24, 2009
UG summer sessions end.

August 7, 2009
GR summer sessions end.
