David A. Rexrode serves as President of the Bluestone Strategies and Consulting Group, a state-focused government, public affairs, and strategic management firm.  He has advised numerous elected officials and helped advance public policy initiatives across the country. A lifelong Duke (his grandmother was Madison College class of 1941) Dave received both his undergraduate degrees in Public Administration and Political Science from James Madison University (Class of 2001).  He has previously served on the JMU Alumni Association Board of Directors and the JMU Board of Visitors.  He and his wife Kathryn (JMU Class of 2000) are parents to a current JMU Duke (Class of 2029) and reside in Fredericksburg with their two other children.
