The UWC is OPEN for Fall 2020 online consultations!

Welcome to the UWC! Our professional writing consultants are ready to assist you with your academic, professional, and personal writing projects.

Due to COVID-19, all UWC consultations will be online. See below for more information about how you can plan for your online session(s).

Try UWC Online Consulting

The UWC's experienced online consultants can help you at any stage of your writing project. If it's your first UWC session, or if it's your first online UWC session, or if you want to make your UWC session better, visit our Make an Appointment page.

To check out consultant availability and to schedule your online session, click on an open white box in the UWC appointment scheduler, notice that the "Yes. Schedule Online appointment" option is already checked, and enter your information. For advice on deciding whether a 30-minute or a 60-minute session will better meet your needs, check out our Make an Appointment page.

A few minutes before your session starts, log back in, click on your session, and then click on "START OR JOIN ONLINE CONSULTATION." Online sessions work better when we can talk, and even better when we can see each other, so make sure you have your microphone and camera options enabled.

For more help, check out the UWC's Writing Guides and Handouts resources.
