Maya is a senior Graphic Design major with the School of Art, Design and Art History. Growing up, her love for illustration and painting, as well as her immersion in developing these skills during COVID, have culminated in her design career at SACM. She describes her aesthetic as clean, organized and colorful. Maya’s designs tend to favor muted colors on the green and blue spectrum. At home, Maya is a triplet who values family and deep friendships. Maya has eclectic musical taste and even enjoys tracks from older decades spanning the 50s to the 80s. Her favorite movie is “Lalaland”. Maya continues to gravitate towards the arts and has been able to take studio classes in fibers, metals, book arts and looks forward to taking ceramics.
