Meet Ann, SACM’s Project Manager.  

After attending undergraduate at Penn State for a degree in Outdoor Education, Ann then became a Duke in 1981 for two years while she pursued her nursing license. In 1985 she began a 35-year stint in the University Health Center, first on the medical side and then in Outreach. She was even part of planning the first ever Late-Night Breakfast between UHC and the University Program Board. She joined us at SACM in 2021, where she loves serving and connecting with so many different departments.  

Ann is proud of her project-management skills and she’s always ready to tackle any new request from a department! She’s a huge JMU Sports fan, and her office is decorated with some Duke Dog bobble heads she received as a member of the Duke Club.  

Ann loves to swim, cook and quilt. She also really enjoys the opportunities afforded to her as a JMU employee, including taking workshops offered through Human Resources or the Libraries, visiting Forbes shows, or auditing classes.
