Description
Duties:
Provide childcare for days that Harrisonburg Schools and/or the JMU YCP are closed for scheduled days off or inclement weather. Children are 6 (first grade) and 4 (pre-school). You would come to our home to play with them, read to them, provide pre-prepared meals, and supervise for either full day (~8 AM to 5 PM) or half day (~8 AM to 12 PM) depending on your availability. We are looking for people who are consistently available on specific days of the week (i.e., you would be the Monday provider if there is a Monday snow day). We would also be interested in occasional evenings (7:30 PM to 10:30 PM).
Requirements:
Experience with babysitting, availability for half or full days during the week, personal car preferred for transportation to our house, but we can also pick you up and take you home if needed.
