Description
Duties:
The Farmers Market Salesperson is a fan of farmers markets, likes mornings and fresh air, enjoys the limited contact with customers with some customer service problem solving, and working semi-autonomously. Loading and unloading the market set up equipment and displays, responsible for POS system use/register sales/making accurate change, fulfilling orders, and packing up to return to the bakery. Driving is a part of this job with the bakery van or car with tiny trailer. Practice with vehicles is provided. Selling good bread to good people by good people.
Requirements:
- Current drivers license with good driving record.
- Over 18 for insurance purposes.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height repeatedly.
- Stand for 4 hours minimum without a break.
- Have positive and polite conversational communication style.
- Be dependable/ not call-off or miss work as it is only once a week.
- Able to work when scheduled.

We want to hire a person who will come to work when scheduled. Every effort is made to be accomodating for schedule requests, but sometimes we will need people to work on a holiday weekend or special day.
