Description
Duties:
The Massanutten Village Family Entertainment Center (FEC) is seeking energetic and guest-focused student team members to join our team for the Spring Break and Summer seasons. Located on top of beautiful Massanutten Mountain, our FEC provides a fun outdoor environment where employees help create memorable experiences for guests and families visiting the resort and community.
Student team members typically work at one of our main attractions including the Go-Kart Track, Bumper Cars Arena, or our Mini Golf building, helping operate rides and assist guests throughout the day.
During the summer season, additional opportunities may also be available at the community pool (lifeguard positions) and Black Bear Ice Cream shop. We enjoy training team members across multiple areas of the operation so employees gain experience in different attractions and roles while working as part of a supportive and fun team.
This is a great opportunity for university students looking for flexible part-time work in a positive team environment. Positions are ideal for students available during Spring Break and again during the summer season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor attractions including Go-Karts, Bumper Cars, and Mini Golf
- Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Explain attraction rules and ensure safe operation of all equipment
- Assist with guest flow, line management, and attraction readiness
- Process guest purchases using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system at attraction ticket windows
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Support team members and supervisors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests
Requirements:
- Strong customer service attitude and positive team mindset
- Ability to work outdoors and remain active during shifts
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused
- Comfortable interacting with families, children, and guests of all ages
- Must be at least 16 years old

The Family Entertainment Center is opened year-round, daily (Mon-Sun) - pending weather. Currently our Seasonal Hours are from 10am - 5pm. During peak seasons we extend the hours beyond 5pm and up to 10pm.
