Description

Duties:

We are a JMU faculty family looking for a part-time care provider for our 20-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9 am-12 pm starting Jan 20 or earlier if you are in town. You would meet him at his day program in Harrisonburg in the morning and help him participate in his day program activities. Our son is friendly, easygoing and fun to hang out with. He enjoys playing with toys, playing games and listening to music.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

Fun and energetic

Calm and patient

Able to engage our son in fun activities like board games

Willing to complete a criminal background check

Clean driving record

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to certify (we will pay for it).
