Why I want to serve on the Task Force:
As a recent graduate of this university, I know how challenging it can be to advocate for change. I have the pleasure of serving on this task force after navigating my way through being a student, alumni, and now a faculty member here at James Madison University, and hope to use my perspectives from these various capacities to help create a campus culture that will empower students to want to be vocal and active in creating better experiences for themselves and future JMU Dukes in their strides to ultimately achieve equity for all.
