Engagement Fellow for REDI

Jameson is a prospective law student serving as a Presidential Engagement Fellow with the Office of Economic and Community Development. He graduated from James Madison University last May with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Public Administration, completing the pre-law professional trek and a minor in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies.

As a student, Jameson was actively involved in campus leadership, serving as President of both the JMU Honor Council and the JMU Debate Team during his final two years. He also worked with the Center for Civic Engagement as a Democracy Fellow, promoting voter participation and civic awareness across campus.

Beyond JMU, Jameson gained professional experience through internships with the Rockingham County Clerk’s Office, where he served as an Archives Assistant, and with Argentum, Expanding Senior Living, as a Research Intern. In his final semester, he completed a Public Policy Capstone focused on clean energy and data center development, while also mentoring and coaching new debaters in Harrison Hall.

Jameson plans to attend law school next fall and hopes that his fellowship experience, combined with his passion for clean energy and sustainable development, will prepare him to work with nonprofits as an environmental lawyer.
