Christine Bakker is a researcher, lecturer and consultant specializing in international human rights law, children's rights, and the relationship between human rights and climate change. She holds a PhD from the European University Institute (EUI, Florence), and is currently a visiting research fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (London), an Affiliated Researcher at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa), and an Affiliated Professor at Syracuse University (Florence). She previously worked at the European Commission (Brussels), and at the EUI (Florence). She has co-edited two books and published several articles and book chapters in her above-mentioned fields of interest.
