She is also a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Horn Performance, Literature, Pedagogy with Professor Ian Zook. Allison has a Master of Music in Horn and a Master of Library Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, English literature, and Bluegrass from Denison University. As a librarian, Allison supports faculty & students in the School of Music with their research, learning, and instruction needs. She catalogs almost all of the materials for the Music Library, including scores, sound recordings, and School of Music Performance Recordings. Some of her favorite library materials include a score for vegetable orchestra, a facsimile of the film score for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and any of the library's P.D.Q. Bach holdings.
Outside of the library, Allison enjoys playing pub trivia with friends, knitting, and the less stereotypically librarian hobby of following professional wrestling.
