Alex Schleyer is a graduate student studying Communications and Advocacy. She recently earned her bachelor’s in communications studies at JMU in May ‘25, and is a proud double duke continuing her education. She works as a graduate assistant in the communications center and as an instructor for SCOM 123. Alex spent two years on the senior leadership team as the communications director for the JMU Student Government Association. She aspires to pursue a career in advocacy, law, or politics. In her free time, Alex enjoys watching sports as an avid Washington Capitals and Commanders fan, playing board games, and dancing.
