We're excited to announce that the 3rd biannual Leading Change Conference will be held February 24th-25th, 2023! This year, we will resume hosting LEADCC as a primarily in-person conference in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley -- Harrisonburg, VA. Join us this year as explore our theme, From Global Knowledge to Local Action, through a wealth of interdisciplinary research and perspectives. Registration for the Leading Change 2023 conference is now open! Secure your spot to experience top-tier graduate and professional leadership research at an affordable rate. 

Registration includes:

To reserve a room at the nearby Hotel Madison, please call the hotel reservations department and request the rate of $96/night reserved for guests of the Strategic Leadership Studies Academic Conference. Reservations at this rate must be completed by February 3rd.

Facilities

The conference will be held in the College of Business Learning Complex, which includes both Hartman Hall and Zane Showker Hall. Both buildings include accessible entrances with automatic doors, elevators between floors, and accessible and gender-neutral restrooms. 

Parking for the event will be reserved in P Lot, located in front of Hartman Hall. No physical parking passes will be necessary. Please note that standard enforcement will continue in other parking lots on campus, and that guests are prohibited from parking in specialty spaces such as Service Vehicle spaces, expired timed spaces, or fire lanes. For any questions regarding campus parking, please consult JMU Parking Services.

Parking

For conference attendees who are not currently enrolled at or employed by JMU, a digital visitor's parking pass will be needed if you plan to park on campus from 11:00 am-3:00 pm on Friday, February 24th. A digital pass will no longer be needed any time after 3:00 pm on Friday, as university-owned parking lots will become open to the public. 

The digital pass will allow guests to park in any JMU-owned parking lot. The nearest parking area to Hartman Hall is P lot. Accessible parking information can be found on the interactive campus map linked above. More details regarding the visitor's passes can be found by clicking the link below.
