During these recent times, our work lives and personal lives have overlapped in ways we may have never imagined. The need to cultivate wellness in all areas of our lives is perhaps more prominant now than it has been.

While many of our typical offerings have changed, we are still able to offer resources and options to help you on your journey to well-being.  The following are virtual resources that can be accessed whenever and wherever works for you.

Come together once a week with your colleagues to talk, gain knowledge, and learn new things. Topics will be relevant to professional development at JMU and include topics related to the eight competencies.

Virtual Sessions are:
  • Mondays at 1-1:30 p.m.
  • Fridays at 11:30-noon

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential information, support, and referral service offering tools and resources designed to help maximize productivity and meet the challenges of modern life. EAP services are available to employees and their household members enrolled in state health plans

Therapist Assisted Online

Faculty and staff can access online mental health resources through the TAO (Therapist Assisted Online) platform. TAO is an interactive, web-based program that provides high-quality and dynamic treatment options and support for a variety of common mental health concerns as well as mindfulness and self-care resources.
