All BA and BS Geology students must complete a research project to fulfill degree requirements. Students typically select a research project in a geologic subdiscipline and work under the mentorship of a faculty advisor with expertise in that area. Some students may have the opportunity to work as paid assistants on grant-funded faculty research projects. Research areas and faculty advisors are listed below:
