April is designated as National Stress Awareness Month, and the CFI is pleased to host the inaugural Faculty Well-being Weeks. From April 6 to 17, this exciting collaborative effort provides all faculty with opportunities to focus on various components of well-being.

Partners: JMU Libraries, The Counseling Center, President’s Council on Health and Well-being, Balanced Dukes, CommonHealth, and Talent Development

Thursday - April 9, 2026

Faculty are cordially invited to a CFI-hosted luncheon and roundtable featuring scholars from across JMU whose work intersects with inclusive approaches to wellness and well-being. Please join us for a chance to engage in interactive, authentic conversations with peers about inclusive well-being on campus and beyond.

The luncheon is a space to explore inclusive approaches to well-being, faculty needs, and what existing or potential resources and advocacy might support faculty in addressing those needs. This is an opportunity to build connections and community around wellness and well-being with other faculty across campus.

If you cannot attend the entire luncheon, please feel free to arrive late or leave early as your schedule allows.

  • Connecting with campus colleagues interested in developing more inclusive frameworks for well-being
